Don Cadena has been in real estate finance since 1987. All of this time in the San Antonio area. He has attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in finance as well as becoming a Certified Finance Specialist (CFS). He has continued his professional education by attending the Xinnix Academy, the most prestigious mortgage training school in the country. Don has appeared as an expert commentator in several articles published by local newspapers. In early 2005, he was invited to participate as a guest lecturer at the McCombs School of Business MBA program at the University of Texas at Austin. Don met the requirements for and received the designation of Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) in March 2007.
Don's approach is to work with the individual customer to develop a comprehensive financial analysis. He examines the immediate needs as well as the long-term goals. Working in concert with the customer a mortgage solution is tailored to correspond with that analysis. He views the mortgage loan as an integral part of the financial plan, not just a means to buy a home. Nobody plans to fail, they just fail to plan. It is not just about the interest rate.
Don originates loans of all types and amounts including: lot loans, new construction/renovation, existing home purchase, conventional, FHA & VA, as well as Jumbo loans.
